Since starting at Windermere in 1996, my job as your agent is to help you be prepared and place you in positions that will give you the advantage. I am located in Seattle's Greenwood office but work with clients from all over the greater Puget Sound region.

Mija Hamilton

I was raised in San Diego and came to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. After graduating with a degree in Business and Marketing, I worked in marketing for a Civil Engineering firm before becoming a real estate agent for Windermere in 1996.

Since then, I've been working for Windermere representing buyers and sellers. I'm married with two kids, a boy and a girl. In the middle of it all, I had the incredible fortune to live abroad in Milan Italy in 2001 and 2002. What an experience! One that I'll never forget and love to talk about so feel free to ask me any questions you may have about Italy, Europe, etc.

My philosophy for buyers having a successful real estate transaction is to be armed with as much information on the process as possible. Home buying can be a long and stressful process but knowing what to expect will reduce the stress level. That's why I spend time getting to know my clients, what they're looking for and then educating them on buying in the Seattle market. And then together, we structure an offer that is powerful enough to succeed in getting them their home.

Sellers

My job as your listing agent is to work with you to determine what your needs are: the highest sales price, within your time frame. I will put together a marketing plan for selling your property that will include open houses for both buyers and agents, flyers, and marketing materials, and prepare your home for being on the market. I will also help to educate you on what to expect, hopefully to reduce some of the stress involved with selling your home. And, I will work with you to negotiate with the buyers and their agent to put together a successful transaction.
